Our Spanish Program has been created to meet your needs and interests. Our personalized, student-centered methodology is based on individual interests, needs and learning styles. The School’s emphasis is conversation, although our classes also include: grammar, audio, writing and reading materials. Our School offers individual and group lessons to students of all ages, from basic through advanced. Our program is flexible in terms of lenght, content and sequence. You have the option to study in the school in Quito, jungle lodge or in an indigenous community while you are doing social service

Our Spanish Program is divided into four levels, in which language learning is complemented by exposure to social and cultural aspects of the Latin American life.

  • Beginners
  • Basic
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced

Vocabulary and grammar are learnt in the first context with both oral and written exercises provided by the school. Emphasis is placed on developing the oral abilities of the students. Every teacher will use their own material according to the student’s interests. (E.g., you can choose to focus on your intern or volunteer placement area: social, health, sports, business, education etc). We prepare the students for realistic situations using dialogue, interviews, and representative situations, through which the students improve their vocabulary, grammar and understanding of the language. This relaxed environment ensures that our students progress with ease and at the end, have gained a broader understanding of daily life in Ecuador.

For students with special needs we offer classes that emphasize on the following:

  • Business Spanish
  • Medical Spanish
  • Full immersion intensive Spanish

We have been working with experienced staff for quite a few years. All of the teachers are highly experienced in teaching Spanish to foreigner students.

Teachers draw on a vast variety of texts and exercises from the best Spanish grammar and teaching books. With audiovisual aids, oral and written comprehension, reading, writing and self-expression skills will be honed.

Upon completion of the course, and having obtained at a minimum a 90% attendance record, students will receive a Spanish language certificate reflecting the number of hours studied and the level attained.

The school is open from Monday to Friday. Morning classes start at 8:30 am and finish at 12:30 pm. Afternoon classes run from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Upon request, we can arrange individual programs on specific days and times (e.g. Mon-Wed-Fri or weekends).

If you want to improve your Spanish before or after your visit to Ecuador, we can offer you online one to one classes with native Ecuadorian teacher
